Tatra Mountains – trails for rainy days
One factor beyond our control while on vacation is the weather. Rain may limit mountain outings to higher elevations, but this is no reason to spend time in a hotel. For those vacationing in the Tatra Mountains, we have some suggestions of charming trails for rainy days.

What trails in the Tatra Mountains for rainy days?
A trip through the Tatra valleys in rainy weather can be an interesting adventure. You will not encounter crowds of tourists making the walk much more pleasant. The mountains bathed in a mysterious mist will make you remember this walk for a long time.
Kasprowy Wierch (1987 meters above sea level) and Gubalowka (1126 meters above sea level) are peaks in the Tatra Mountains that offer cable car access, and this is a very safe choice on rainy days. Both of these peaks are famous for their beautiful views, both during fine weather and rainy weather, as the misty peaks look magical. Once you reach the top, you can make yourself comfortable in a restaurant with beautiful views.
Rusinowa Polana (1208 m) – is a place that looks beautiful at any time of the year and in any conditions. The trail is very easy, with no harder approaches. On its territory there is a shepherd’s hut, where you can try local products.
Strążyska Valley and Siklawica – the trail leads along a forest path. After about 30 minutes of pleasant walking you will find the Strążyska Glade (1029 meters above sea level), from which you can admire the impressive wall of Giewont, which is at your fingertips. On the Glade there is the Parzenica Teahouse – a perfect place to relax.
For rainy days, not just trails
On rainy days, in addition to walking on the Tatra trails, you can have an interesting time at other attractions:
TPN Nature Education Center – is a great attraction for rainy days. The center offers a modern form of sightseeing in which there is a cave, three-dimensional mockups, a discovery room and many other attractions.
Museums and galleries – visiting such places will make you get to know Zakopane even better. The most popular are: Tatra Museum, the Kornel Makuszynski Museum or the Museum dedicated to Karol Szymanowski.
Beernarium Beer Spa – after a rainy day in the Tatra Mountains, nothing warms you up like a visit to the Beer Spa, which is famous for its fun and relaxation.
Beernarium Beer Spa in Zakopane
If you are looking for a place to hole up and relax on rainy days, we invite you to the Beer Spa located on Zakopane’s most famous “trail”, Krupówki. Beernarium is famous for its warming beer and wine baths, which will wrap you in a beautiful fragrance and put you in a blissful state. But it doesn’t end there, as the nurturing baths are varied with a tasting of Teschen beer or wine. And all this in a private bathhouse, accompanied by relaxing music.
For sauna fans, we offer bathing preceded by a 15-minute session in the Infrared dry sauna. This is an excellent choice for rainy, cold days when we don’t feel like doing any activities. Warmed up muscles and relaxed head after the sauna session as much as to ask for a massage 😉 In the Beer Spa you can choose such a massage that best meets your needs.
You are cordially invited!
